Scarborough Gold Cup 2018

Tour Date: 20 September 2018

End of season Road Racing. Head north with RealRoads for one of the seasons best road racing events at the picturesque seaside town of Scarborough. A fantastic long weekend of riding and race spectating!

If you've never watched the close-up, action-packed racing through the beautiful wooded parkland at Oliver's Mount, give it a try. There's no greater thrill for a race fan than to see race bikes brushing the banking only yards away from where you stand!. Jefferies Jumps always take the breath away as the bikes pull huge wheelies over the jumps.

Situated just five minutes from Scarborough's town centre, the races have been likened to a 'miniature TT by the seaside'. Amusement arcades, lively nightlife, ice cream, fish and chips, scenic countryside ride outs on great roads, good beer and friendly locals are all key features of a visit to Scarborough.

We have made some changes to our itinerary to provide more riding time in the Yorkshire Dales. We will leave Thursday afternoon and journey to our accommodation in Wensleydale in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. This gives us great access to both the Dales and North Yorkshire Moors ahead of the weekends racing. Our main race spectating will take place on the Saturday leaving Sunday open to either enjoy a more leisurely ride home or to attend the races and have a later finish.

Expected 2018 price based upon a shared room £195. Admission to the racing will be extra - Saturday £20 Sunday £30. Weekend tickets and paddock passes are available in advance and we recommend you book early if wanting access to the tightly knit paddock at Olivers Mount where you can get up close to the stars of road racing.

This event takes place 20th - 23rd September 2018.
